So, off I go to work. It's cold, it's windy and there's that horrible fine misty rain deciding to limit my view.

Pedalling along slower than normal as my legs just wouldn't warm up. See a couple of cyclists further up the road (one doing a fair speed). I overtake the first cyclist, pedal a bit faster and I overtake the second one. Then I hear a noise. Thinking it was just a stone pinging off my wheel or something I carry on.

Then I see another cyclist (Pedalling highest gear with their heels, knees out etc...), overtake, done.

Get a bit closer to work, stop at the lights, go to check what time it is on computer and... It's not there.

Damn, now I need to get myself a new wireless computer.

Got to work cold and wet and computerless.

I'll stop my moaning now

It would be "disastrous" for my computer to stop working, I use it to log my total km's everyday to ensure I am improving over what I did last year.

I use Runkeeper for ride logging - the Android phone stays safely waterproof in the bag and the GPS logs everything. The only thing it doesn't log is cadence, however that doesn't bother me.

B.

p.s. if you are a white plastic addict Runkeeper has "an app for that" as well as for the green robot!
