Sometimes, here in the mother country, we have day tariff and a cheaper night tariff for leccy. Their reply is a tad confusing to me..

But she's still not clear, is she talking about UTC or BST & does it change when we change the clocks? Also you are not charged the standard rate during the day, you are charged at a higher rate than their standard rate, she also doesn't mention the crippling standing charge.
