If it's just the free delivery, I looked at what I do buy from Amazon and a fair amount is actually consumables that I tend to keep "in-stock" eg nitrile gloves, WD40, masking tape, etc. So I keep a range of such items on my "Wish List" and mostly know what I have in stock so when I need something specific I add the general consumable items to the order to hit the free delivery threshold.
I never really need "next day delivery" so a few days delay in the order being picked is not important to me.
But what people might use Amazon Prime for can differ (eg Kindle, TV) so above would only apply to those only after the free delivery.
