Constanta to Northern Greece

170000 psotd Burgas to Greece.JPG


Anyone done this - having perused it on Google maps it doesnt look a very interesting 600km - at the moment it looks like - West on the 79 from Burgas till the 7 - South on the 7 - into Turkey for a few km then south along the Greek side of the border to the Aegean - open to suggestions

The Erdine crossing is (was?) an 'experience'
20 years ago it was a case of find a fixer, pay money, pay more money, pay even more money, and it still took most of a day to get out of Turkey

No idea if they have "modernised" ^_^ - ME standards were the same a few decades ago but things change

Edit - it was getting in that I was more concerned about :laugh:

I suspect getting into Turkey may not be too difficult, however an itinerant traveller, on a bike, heading for Europe with no visible means of support, that claims it's a real British Passport .........
