I'm looking to upgrade my stock tyres on my Defy Advanced.

Feeling the need to buy Continental but not sure which are best for me.

Narrowed the possibilities down to GP4000SII or 4 Seasons.

The write ups put the 4000SII as a good all rounder on both dry and wet roads where I assume the 4 Seasons are as described, for all year round riding.
I'm keeping the Defy on the road as long as possible until it's time to get the winter bike out. Would I be as well opting for the 4000S tyres as technically I'll be 3 season riding?

The 4 season have a bit more puncture protection and are marginally heavier and arguably more durable, that said they are pretty similar.

I have 4Seasons on "winter" bike and GP4000s on "summer" bike. Both excellent but the 4000s were sods to get on my Fulcrum wheels
