Yes I have them on my old MTB.

Do the job tbh.

Don't know if the compound has changed since sports direct took over?

I had the 700c version from Wiggle - this is what they looked like after just a couple of months of low mileage use. Wasn't impressed

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I had the lifeline race tyres although they looked the business they were really slow , in fact cheap zaffiros came out a lot better in tests than these tyres so i binned them in the end .Gawd only knows how bad the commuters must be .

I would say avoid. I had mine about a year and used them for commuting. Rolled OK, but the tyre separated from the bead quite dramatically and dumped me on the tarmac - I was lucky it was on a shared path and not on the road, or at speed. I've never had a tyre do that. I put the Schwalbe Landcruisers back on. I have seen other reviews where bead separation was mentioned.

Decided to go for the Marathons once these wear out, had a pair before and put thousands of miles on them with no issues. Thanks for the reply

I avoid what was, the imo once great, Wiggle/CRC and not so great Evans now completely - they are all owned by the company that owns sports direct (Fraser group/Mike ashley), and I would imagine it's general knowledge how they treat staff, and the merchandise they sell.
Not having a go, but thought some people may be unaware.

Was really gutted to lose Wiggle and CRC, those two sites were pivotal to my starting road riding and getting kitted out some 18 years ago.

Another vote for Marathons, or if you want more road orientated but with similar fairy resistance, Durano Pluses are also good.
