Continuous blood sugar monitoring now a reality

Just been reading this story about a new continuous blood sugar monitoring system being trialed on a ride between Brussels and Barcelona.
The potential goes way beyond the issues of diabetics like myself, and will be able to warn riders when they are approaching the 'Bonk'

I for one am going to be following this avidly as it has been talked about for years, but only now becoming a reality

Is this new Linford I thought this technology was already available in connection with an insulin pump - perhaps I should read the link hey?

My mate is a type1 and has an insulin pump. He still tests with a fingerprick sugar meter though
