I love cooking, and I love cooking for my wife.
I wanted to cook a nice meal for New Year’s Eve, I’ve spent the last week looking through old copies of my bbc good food magazines and found a recipe that I thought would suit.
First up while I was finishing prepping was smoked salmon blinis with French martini cocktails
For the main course was Beef fillet with red wine sauce served with Parsnip croquettes & ginger & orange honeyed carrots.
For dessert was spiced poached pears
Wifey said it was the one of the best meals I’ve cooked for her and I must admit it was bloody good. I’ve rewarded myself with a glass of my expensive cognac and a chocolate or two.
