Corel PaintShop Pro Photo X1

Mad question. I'm having a bad day, and have just got around to trying to re-install PSP Photo X1 on my laptop which I rebuilt a few weeks ago. But this has just happened with very little pressure applied, I will add.

Does any one have a copy they can duplicate for me please? I am not after a license, I have 2 of those for this version (my prefered version) it is just I can only locate 1 CD at the mjoment and have just killed it...

Have a look here -> ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub that is corels FTP server see if your version is on there.

thanks - regretfully I think that is only the patches & updates for various software though. Not the actual original installation....The file under the appropriate section is only 8Mb in size...

yep - and gently lifted the edge. would not mind but it is the only piece of software on my laptop that I did not create an ISO file for before we went off to cycle around the world, ISO files being easier to carry than CD's! ahhhh

I downloaded it and when the setup ran it said paint shop pro x1 so it should be the right one.

You should always have 2 copies of everything, hence the name "backup" not "only copy"

For a former IT Engineer, this is a little embarrasing... I have no idea why there is not an ISO file, but life was a little busy and stressful prior to selling everything to go off and cycle around the world, that I guess it slipped through the net. I have duplicates of duplicates, a fire proof safe and all my best photos were also kept on DVD at work as a precaution (when I had a job) - we had a home that was on a nature reserve and fires were not unknown (including our former home being used as the closest access to a major fire that had us in a hotel/friends homes for 5 nights until we were finally allowed back into the house). just been having a really very bad week ... One of my specialities was data recovery....! but there is not much I really want to do with a broken CD other than keep it as proof of legal duplicate of software!
