Now over a month in, and I'm really liking it still. I can't fault the pre-plotted navigation. Turn by turn directions are accurate, and the Dura beeps (very loudly) to alert you of a turn in plenty of time. I haven't attempted the re-routing feature, so I can't comment on it. But I have noticed, when I do go off the route, once I'm a couple of turns away from being back on the route, it shows me where to go. I don't really need this feature as I've purposely gone a different direction and know how to get back on route. But helpful if you're in an unknown area.
I used the voice command feature for the first time yesterday- that was really quite cool. I didn't need to be so focused on the map. It worked really well, and the voice came through my headphones clearly over my music. I use shokz bone conduction headphones.
Another feature I like- if you are following a route, but aren't on the map page, when you have a turn coming up, it automatically switches to the map (accompanied by the beep) to show you which direction to head in. Once the turn is made, it automatically swaps back to your original screen.
I'm still exploring the features, but it seems as though many of the initial maps issues have now been addressed.
