Do these cars get a special permit issued by the DVLA to drive daft?

Too many close calls to mention involving these cars.

Since all of the above are generally driven by new drivers you'd think that the Highway Code would be foremost in their minds - not so.

I passed my test in 1992 and can still remember a lot in the Highway Code.

I drive a V6 Rover 75 and are perfectly able of giving cyclists plenty of room, why not these small car drivers?

How about the Ford Clitoris?

Sorry I just couldn't follow the joke through.;)

I've had a few daft Clios recently, in the city their drivers are a pain but in the country their drivers are generally good. On little country roads small car drivers seem to go out of their way to give me room, driving up the verge etc, whereas a 4x4 won't move a few inches as they might get their tyres dirty.

Ratty Peugeot 206s down our way are the typical offenders. Along with the usual BMW 320s driven by talentless cocks who think they've got an M3 and the ability of a Hamilton, natch.

Have to say that the guys with the properly* tuned cars give me plenty of room and to spare. Thanks boys, truly you are knights of the road.

*You know, the ones that have Elton John levels of spending on their appearance.

All Vauxhalls, a twunt in a brand new Insignier (Cavalier by name cavalier by nature) tried to play chicken at me today. I was driving a shoot old van. I won. Later on in the same journey I saw the most horrendously close overtake of a cycling family of four by an idiot in a Astra.

I so want a gun.

I cannot let this go on any longer without demanding that Audi drivers be placed firmly at the top of the bad drivers league.

It might be a town-country thing, but I don't have much hassle with kids in clapped out fords, vauxhalls etc. They're definitely a danger to themselves, but the noise they make roaring down the middle of the road mean you can see and/or hear them for miles.

Audis have quieter engines and a more moronic and selfish cadre of drivers. On my road most travelled, it's rare to find one who is considerate, or even safe. The only group who run them close are women on mobile phones with a 4x4 full of kids.

BMW's im getting a mix of good and bad now.

I'd say I'm usually pleasantly surprised by BMW drivers. At times when I'm expecting the car behind to squeeze past and they don't, a lot of the time it is a beemer.

Volvo drivers have been annoying me more than usual recently. Had them past close when they had a whole other lane to overtake in.
