Well, its called cottage pie, but is it really a pie as it does not have a pastry crust it can't be held in the hand to be eaten so would be useless at football matches.

Rubbish, tripe, codswallop. You can get superb pies in this part of France. That's not an opinion; it is a fact.


And the 'curried shepherds pie' - originally minced meat, we have adapted it with Quorn mince. also

. We have variants with other fillings, also one with spicy diced potato and other vegs.And yup Speicher, I am back onboard the boat. I leave the menu to the Cook though. We have an agreement. I don't tell him how to cook and he doesn't tell me how to fix engines![]()
