Cougar Appreciation.....

Hopefully “sealing the deal” and getting my hands on this fine looking Cougar today. An ex Malcolm Elliot stead that needs some love and attention.
Did Terry Dolan add serial numbers to his bikes??

Not every Cougar was a Terry Dolan. He was in partnership for a while in the very early days.
The Cougar I had was made in Prescot by Terry and certainly had a serial number. It is still written on my garage wall....just in case!

That's lovely, and an original Selle Italia Turbo saddle, very 1990! The brakes are fabulous period things too, it all looks really orginal.

I like any kind of cougar, I have to say. Appreciate 'em all.

I’m struggling to remember who posted it but there was a thread a little while ago where a CCer was doing some work in the house of a middle aged lady whose husband had died and he noticed a bike of this same make belonging to said departed husband in the basement. Apparently both Cougars were on offer but I cant remember which one he took but being a CC member I’m sure he took the bike.
