I just finished rebuilding a vintage Rudge just as it started to snow heavily the week before Christmas. I still haven't had a chance to go for a decent test ride on it thanks to ice.

i'm going out on what's normally the friday "ub40" training ride tomorrow, the one i crashed on before. i'll eschew the close formation riding though; indeed i'll be lucky not to be spat out the back after 20 feet…

My old clubmate used to do that..many years ago....still going then..., and he wasn't a Macc Wheeler...from Marple wheelers.......... they were all nut's then on that ride............
