So with a small camera (not a phone) on a selfie stick I decided to see what I could ' come up with ' I was very mindful of not concentrating on the road/path ahead and I managed to finish without any accidents. ^_^ In all pictures I used the 10 second timer on the camera. I have about 30 ! of these pictures so if any interest I will post more. By all means have your say and speak your mind, (I'm thick skinned) N:B all pictures taken while I am riding the ' self-propelled ' bike.

Those photos are great, I especially like the last one. I've had a go myself at something like this but I'm really struggling getting the camera to focus properly. On that last one it seems you've got a low depth of field but the camera has managed to focus on the bike and create a real crisp image. You'll have to let us into the technical details behind the images.

You've inspired me though to have another go myself sometime.

Well 'chriswoody' many thank for your kind words.
I used a pretty decent Sony NEX-7 camera for these shots and the auto focus has ' nailed ' focus on the bike while the out of focus background has motion blur. As you probably appreciate it's all about getting the right shutter speed. Maybe trial & error is your friend here ?
