He's very clean and tidy, considering the lack of space. I've wondered about living in a shepherd's hut before.

The problem with caravans is that even if you own land, you normally aren't allowed to live in them. Houses are a different matter, the government actually encourage peopleto build their own houses. That said, planning permission can take an age and getting hold of land can be a bit of a minefield.

Lots of people live in Motorhomes, touring Europe, they call it full-timing, it's surprisingly popular, some even educate their children this way too.
