So happily commuting through Greenwich this morning, glorious day, legs feeling good, bike up to 22mph. Then I picked up a wheelsucker so I picked up the speed to try to shake him off but no he just stayed there for around 2.5 - 3 miles despite repeated waves for him to take the front then wouldn't you know it, I stop for a red light and he just sails on through with my momentum. Where's that stick for putting through spokes?

Still got to pass him about a mile later, obviously not that good when there's no one to hang onto.

Now i'd never thought of that, that seems like an incredibly good idea. Roll on Friday, I'll wait for him!!

I have mudguards that fit the bike but (at the risk of tempting fate) I've taken them off for a while.....
