Hey all - the crankarms on my 2007 Trek XO1 keep coming loose (the splines are worn) and the non-drive side will actually fall off. I want to replace the crankarms but am having trouble finding a replacement set. The relevant drive train specs are: Bontrager Race CX 46-38, 170 length arms and the rear cassette is 12-27 10 speed. I have also attached a number of pictures.

1. Any suggestions on a replacement? I don't have a brand preference.
2. Can I go to the pinch bolt design to secure the non-drive side crankarm instead of the type I have (see picture)? I don't trust this design.

Thanks in advance!

Replace the whole crankset and bottom bracket with a modern Hollowtech II setup. You'll get the reliable pinch-bolt design you want. A Shimano Tiagra 4700 crankset is a perfect and affordable choice.
