Hi guys, had a wee crash the other day on my trek madone 2.1 on bone dry roads :-( I have noticed an alarming tendency for the tyres that came with the bike to be skittish on dry roads although strangely they never gave me any bother at all through all the winter weather!? I am looking for a tyre recommendation for either summer riding ( I'll keep the original tyres for winter) or a good year round tyre, grip is most important followed by puncture resistance and I don't mind spending a bit to get the right set for me, thanks :-)

Conti Gatorskins are all round brilliant IME.

Or for a more performance oriented tyre try Conti GP4000s, another cracker IMO.

Ribble Cycles have Michelin Pro4s at £22.53 at the moment. Buy a pair then upload a screenshot of the invoice to the Michelin website and you might get another pair, free.
