Don't think you'd find much in a Canadian or New Zealand paper about them. Which that includes.
Try the library, asking doesn't cost a penny.

Given my other circumstances, I phoned the library to see if they have it. They ummed and Aahed and will get back to me (providing I don't pass en route to the Health Centre later anyway).

If not available, try asking if they have the library version of ANCESTRY. You have one lead already given.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
The British Newspaper Archive is £14 a month (cheaper annually) or £20-odd for a pay as you go a/c with limited number of searches. Its not that expensive, I did pay for it once when I was looking into something. And I think you get some free searches when you first sign up.

It's too late now, but I was in an antiques barn, in Faversham today. There was an old photo album with probably over 200 photos of old steam trains.

Almost bought it for you. Would you have been interested? Think it was £10.

Thanks, it's ok. This is a class 311, so one of the 'Glasgow Blue Train' electrics, but thanks anyway. It's a bit of a niché thing.

As it is, I am now not sure I'll even get to the library in time now today anyway. 🤦‍♂️

Yes, but if you look it up, I wont (or probably) wont be in any of the pictures.

I know the train is still a bit of a mess, but we are, slowly getting there!

I live just out side Pickering home of NYR and have got to meet various people who are massively in to railways, including I think the chairman of NYR. These folk are it all types of vintage railways and I know my friend Neil and said chairman went off somewhere Teasdale ? to see a vintage electric engine.
So I wonder if contacting a few of these vintage railways to see if someone is in the know.
