Has anyone any experience with a Create bike?

Looks like a Chinese made steel frame budget bike. Not very specific about the specification are they? Probably weigh a ton. Best avoided I'd have thought. Go to a bike shop and try look at some, at least you will be able to see what you are getting and try them out. Fixes are not for everybody so make sure you know what you in for!

It's possible they assemble them in London but certainly won't be made there. Doesn't really fill you with confidence though when they don't post the specs and the only thing they do say is it is "tag welded" when it should be "tig welded".

FWIW apparently the 2013 bike has an aluminium frame.

IMO these are aimed purely at the hipster market and they 'aint my cup of tea TBH.

If I was after another fixed at that money I'd be buying a used Specialized Langster.

If you're after a cheap fixed look at edinburgh bikes track bike. The Viking fixed bikes are heavy but ok, a few on here have them.

Your best bet is to get a used one, lots buy them then realise they need more than one gear.

Hmm I think I will keep looking then. (TAG welding is TIG welding apparently. You learn something new every day)

Create crop up on here every so often, closely followed by some shills saying how good they are, and a few people who've bought one and say they're rubbish.

Now, if I was after another fixed I'd be ordering one of these from Edinburgh.
At £170 it's almost rude not to!

Don't forget to check out Halfords who have quite few fixes on their site. Interestingly they were showing the Create bikes but now say "unavailable".

I've recently bought a Create bike through my cycle to work and it's not great but it's not awful. I also bought a charge plug 2 around the same time which is so much better in my eyes. feels better made. rides hell of a lot better. was just over £100 more but worth the spend
