Hi Everyone!

I am in the middle of creating a new product range for TOMS as my final year project in uni. I have come up with the concept of selling TOMS Bicycles, and for every bicycle bought a bicycle would then be provided for a child or family in need. I would love real cyclists like all of to please take my survey so I can hear your feedback about my concept and hear from what people in the biking commuting are really looking for in a bicycle.

If you just have a few spare minutes where you can answer a few quick questions I would really appreciate it. I am also looking to hold a focus group soon in Preston where all participants will have the chance to win a fully refurbished 1970's vintage styled bicycle! But anyone who is interested needs to fill out both surveys to qualify. Once you have filled out both surveys please email me at: agorbutt@uclan.ac.uk with your contact information if you are interested in taking part and winning a vintage bicycle for FREE!!

You might get some vigorous debate if you ask the forum what a "real cyclist" is!

Elephant Bike already do this and it might be worth looking at their business model

There is also Re-Cyle that provides bikes to Africa

One common thee has always been simplicity and reliability

Ask your self whether the bike you provide will stand abuse and will the owner be able to afford to maintain and repair the machine

It is a bit of a pain that you can only select one bike type. I have and ride three different types and have multiple examples of each!
