Mrs J's laptop packed up today and she needs one urgently for her OU course, so I popped dwn to PC World and picked her up a HP G62 It was quite cheap but more than serves the purpose she needs it for. £379

The guy wanted £30 to load and create recovery discs, stupidly I declined along with the extra insurance, I have a two added warranty deal on my credit card.

So, how does my daughter go about creating recovery discs for this, is it difficult.

Thats all double dutch to me.

It should have a recovery partion on the hard drive to reinstall Windoze 7.
If it does not then you should have got a Windoze 7 disk.

But to create a flash drive recovery disk, follow the instruction From HP.

Luck ...........
