The series has been played with a good spirit until they got to a tense situation at the end of a very long day today. It will be a real shame if the rancour continues. I don't think it will though.

I think England are annoyed by the Pant injury.

India have effectively played 12 men. As Pant is too injured to keep wicket but not too injured to bat at No5. Which is nonsense.

So it ended with Crawley playing silly beggars tonight.

Interesting story emerging about the complaints regarding the Dukes ball. It seems there is a tender to supply the Indian market at stake. The alternative Indian brand has ambassadors in the team….
