Criteria for avoiding films

CGI gets on my diddlyflops at times..old StarWars compared to the newer stuff for example.
i like them all but the originals were ....well real in the movie sense.

I just won't do films, generally. With the very odd exception, I find them booooorrring. If I get dragged off to the cinema, I usually end up falling asleep and then being annoyed because the volume during action scenes wakes me from my borefest induced slumber.
I can't get past the fact that films are not real, they are just fantasy. And as time progresses those fantasies just get more and more far fetched and not worth watching.

I think it's called "an inability to suspend your disbelief". Something I struggle with more as I get older.
