I avoid anything with Woody Allen in.

If Tarantino directed it, I'm not going to watch it. Same with Guy Ritchie films. And Woody Allen doesn't float my boat, either.

Anything with (as many have mentioned) Tom Cruise, Robin Williams, Mel Gibson (although I liked Gallipoli and the Mad Max films), Hugh Grant etc.

Family films featuring animals (excluding Ring of Bright Water and Old Yella), Most American 'comedies', any of the Star Wars films, modern westerns, romantic 'comedies', and lots more.

Have you tried Claude van Damme? Sounds like he'd be right up your street.
