Crivit Chain Cleaning Kit

Dear all

I have read the instructions carefully but I am still having problems.

1) I cant easily reach the chain without dismounting. Do I need to be off the bike?
2) No matter how annoying I found the first part, I cant see how getting angry helps with instruction 7.

The anger comes when you twist something delicate trying to put the kit on while in the saddle

Here are better instructions.

Take old rag. Wipe chain. Wipe more then oil chain and wipe again a few times. Old t shirts are ideal.

Put cleaner thingymebob in bin.

Ha ha. Actually I used it yesterday and it did a really good job!

Having been a 'let the rain clean my bike' person, I'm now mildly obsessive about it, esp chain, gears, rims.
I bought a crivit thingy from Lidl about a year ago, and it works really well. However, I use it as an initial clean, then I scrub-a-dub-dub, then Mickle. Probably do this once every 3 rides or so, depending on weather/conditions/bike/time available etc.
