Then you really need to visit Boston [Lincolnshire]. I used to deliver there many years ago, before the Eastern Europeans began settling and spotting the thin person was trickier than finding rocking horse sh*t. Went there again last week to pick up a bike for a friends daughter, nothing much has changed, one big traffic jam because very few walk.

When you land at Logan (Boston USA) you are welcomed by signs declaring that Boston is the 'walking city'.

Wow thought I; this place really is the total opposite of Boston Linc.

Fond memory of Cromer.
Cycling around the Norfolk coast a couple of years ago, I camped on a site overlooking Cromer. As I was putting up my tent a guy came across to me (I was the only other person on the site) and said he had to go home early and did I want two tickets for the pier cabaret show. He left them with me not wanting anything for them so I wondered down into Cromer gave the other ticket away and saw the show. I was a nice little show especially as it was free.
