My cycle computer can't display beyond 9999 so its back to zero !

I was well annoyed, do they think no one will ever cycle that much or that it won't last that long !

Anyway my mate at work said thats enough miles to cycle to the south pole something, and after this week it has felt like it was the south pole !

have a great weekend folks !

Woo-Hoo, 10k, well done. How long has that taken you? You could put a "1" sticker on the left of your computer. It'd make you feel a lot better!
I started cycling to work in March and I'm just coming up to 4,000.

Well done Kev, That's a great achievement.
I was meant to pass the 10,000 mile year target on Tuesday but the weather put the kaibosh on that.

I am going to post my stats for the year, on the 1st of Jan which will be interesting, so miles done, journeys made by bike/car, costs incurred and saved, weather stats etc, tried to record as much as I could but got better as the year went really, some interesting stats

Well done. A massive effort.

I am aiming for a 2000 mile mark but the cold weather means I am 200 miles short. Hoping for a thaw soon and then some concentrated effort over Christmas. I can't ever see me doing 10k in a year. Maybe 4k-5k as my average is around 100 miles per week.

Time can be the limiting factor, I've been averaging 4-5000 miles a year for may many years and I spend a lot of time on the bike, if I tried to do more mileage it would start to cause problems with other parts of my life, I run 18-22 mph as a max speed and average around 15mph.
