Hi all

Is it possible to get across the Bristol Channel on either of the main toll bridges as I have checked their websites and can find no reference to crossing on the sites

Many thanks

Mike

Please be advised there are foot/cycle paths on the "old" Severn Bridge (M48) in both directions that are well signposted and accessible from both sides. However there is No foot/cycle path on the new Second Severn Crossing.

But - be aware that it's very windy up there, and also that the paths can sometimes have a goodly bit of debris on them. You need to allow for a slower speed than you usually average, and some extra time for looking at the fabulous views. (Something you can't enjoy anything like as much from a motor vehicle!)
