...or the Topeak equivalent, which are a bit cheaper?

Are they Topeak Defender M1 / M2? - I've moded ones fitted to my hybrid and like them.

If something breaks, Topeak sell you spares, which is good as it means you don't have to buy a whole new unit.

Crud, however, will often give you spares, which is better. :biggrin:

I have both. I think the Topeak ones look better and feel stronger but I've only experienced a break on the Topeaks, although I take the blame for dropping the bike causing the damage. :biggrin:

Now me, I prefer a CycraGuard to the others on the front but love one of Mr Crud's finest on the back.

I don't think front and rear crud's match that well after all they are just two bits of misshapen plastic. my rear crud and front cycra compliment one another perfectly.
