They will be in "steerage" ClassThey sound awful to me. There is a couple in the village, I try to avoid, who usually do 2 or 3 cruises a year. Funny thing is they rarely tell you where they’ve been rather than who they sat with at dinner. Listening to them you’d get the impression the ship is full of solicitors, property magnates, chief constables and no painter and decorators ever on board.
My sentiments exactly!Having never been on a cruise of any sort, I can happily indulge my prejudices to their full extent.
I cannot imagine anything worse than being in incarcerated in a viral incubater within a highly polluting steel shell containing what seems to resemble a cross between a giant shopping mall and a Trump casino for entertainment, stopping only to inflict brief misery on tourist cities unfortunate enough to have failed to have the prescience to ban these floating obscenities.
Off cycling and/or hiking again next summer.
12 hours...... that long ??Not my thing at all, stuck on a dinghy with 2000 people. Id be arrested for murder within 12 hours.
Don't think I would even if I shared a cabin with you and Welshie. I would have to thunk about it but doubt itWould be my worst nightmare. Wouldn't even go if it was free!![]()
I always think of it as being on holiday in a floating Working Mens Club... yukWatched one of those programmes the other night. Looked like Butlins on the sea. Absolutely awful.
Not only would I not go for free, should I find myself sentenced to a spell on one, I would happily pay good money to be released into the community!Would be my worst nightmare. Wouldn't even go if it was free!![]()
