I was taken back a little by the amount of cyclists out on my stretch of CS7 today (South Wimbledon -> Bec)

Let the scalping commence :ninja:

What time were you on that stretch this morning? You may well have gone past me...
Lots of try-hard hybridists Today - the kind who hate being overtaken and hustle their way past at every red light, to prove their worth

Edit: Not saying you're one of 'em, you understand  Reading the above it sounds wrong.

You go in later than me in the morning but leave at a similar time. No commitment, some people
I normally go home along Embankment and through the park with all the old dears, anyway. I am moving soon though and CS7 will feature more heavily, of an evening. I'll keep my eyes open

Try CS3

I was once shouted at by a cyclist coming the other way through the park near Limehouse basin because I was in his lane. Completely ignoring the fact that through that small park there is only one lane to share, and I was on the left of it

ah st James park . One reason i don't use the CS3 route much. that and the bloody great big hole at the top of the slope on the left just as you go onto the bridge over the tunnel approach.

ropemakers fields heading to limehouse cut is much better

[QUOTE 2432656, member: 1314"]CS7, from Tooting Bec ALL the way to Wimbledon Bec, was absolutely crazy tonight. Normally I'd use my brakes about 2 or 3 times for each 15 mile drag. Tonight, I had to use my brakes 11 or 12 times. It was sheer

Madness...?! Madness?!!! I'll tell you what madness is Mate - A23 through Brixton, Stretham, Norbury and into central Croydon. That was my commute home Today (don't ask). Makes Tooting look like Paradise

Knock yourself out
Just hope you like a constant stream of buses though...
Nice if you get dragged up Brixton Hill behind one ;) But I much prefer my commute to my new job which doesn't use the A23. Redhill>Coulsdon>Wallington>Tooting>Clapham>Victoria rather than Redhill>A23>London Bridge
