Apparently the CTC are commissioning three videos especially for women fronted by Christine Bleakley.

It is quite disturbing to read that none of the three will provide any information on safety, especially cycling up the inside of large vehicles, although there is one video about how to look stylish while riding .

No it's not disturbing. Looking stylish is important to women, especially those who aren't currently cycling. And the CTC already has tons of safety stuff on its website.

No problem having a video on being stylish but having that and not one on safety seems an oversight.
