Hi

After looking at buying a ribble ive decided to buy from my lbs

My spec was a carbon frame with 105 with a budget of 1500 ish

Its now between these


Opinions?...is the merida worth the extra £100?

I would go for cube, but only because they have the best looking carbon bikes.

I would spend a little bit more and go for the (race), my wife has just bought one and i am impressed.

Rides lovely although it's a bit small for me.

Not me, I bought mine from Wiggle, (Focus branded), about 3 years ago, and although they are OK I had to revert to 500ml bottles as 750mll were getting a lot of bounce outs. Carbon simply doesn't grip as well as other materials for bottle cages. When mine are knackered I'll replace them with something other than carbon TBH.

As for the bikes, bit late as you've ordered on, but I'd have said go for the one that fits you best and inspires you most during the test ride I presume you had.

Yes i have the carbon cage bottle holders on my other halfs bike and my own, have had them on mine for over a year no probs with them.

Where did u get them from.

Cannot find where i got them from, it was a year or so ago, but these look the same, although they have gone up in price a bit, i paid £18 for a pair, normally take a couple of weeks to come.
