Do the Pro and Race use the same frame?

Asked a Cube dealer this question :

Thank you for your email. The GTC carbon lay up is the same on all models - so frame weight and ride quality is very similar.

The main difference is that the GTC and GTC Pro models do not have internal cable routing - models above this do.

To be honest, I'm going off the idea of a Cube after reading some of the problems people have had with frames cracking.

Is there a caption that has 2 Black Eyes & a broken nose ?

That's what I would/will get when I try this game.

To be fair she quickly came round to the idea as I didn`t make it a big secret, just never said when I was buying  Although payback I`m sure is going to be painful!

To be fair *and this is only my belief* - the Cube frame issue was sporadic but worthy of concern but also it is an historic issue relating to a few years back now.

I am sure that Cube have not had any instances of note in recent years (they did seem to replace a good few frames at the time).

There are a lot of Cube owners out there that are very happy but once you have doubts then they will always be there so maybe another brand might be your best avenue.

Good news is that most brands of note have really got their game sorted & producing great products whether that be Raleigh - Ridley or Pinnie-Rolo & their flagship bike the DogMuck Think 2x before parting with £6k (joke Pinny owners).
