OP - yes it will work, I've put my TCR in my MINI before - drop both rear seats and whip both wheels off is the easiest method.

I also have a 540 BMW but 16-18 mpg it's basically parked up these days so was going to sell and save a fortune on petrol insurance and running costs

V8's are always allowed.......EVEN with a beemer wrapped round them

My 4yr old said she preferred the backseat of a real mini to that of a BINI as there was more space in it!

We got 7 of us into a Reliant Robin once. Only once, it was a bit of a squash.

I got some grotty Apollo MTB article into a 'new' Mini with no problems. I had a proper Mini as well

Snap. It was already nearly touching the deck but with 7 in was sparking like a mid 80's F1 car.
