Cube Pelaton Race or Giant Defy 1?

I have a wonderful lbs here in Chapel Allerton.Which i support with my purchases.But two summers ago along with a few on here.I wanted to look at the Spesh Secteur Elite.The then manager was unable to meet my request to get a 61cm in for me to try.I understood his reasoning.About being left with a bike had i not bought it.
Well i had been a patient of Harrogate Hospital at the time and after being given the all clear on my knee i went to have a look around Harrogate town centre.Big mistake i found the Spesh concept store.I was lured in by the displays in the window.Cut a long story short.The staff in there arranged to have a bike transferred up to Harrogate.I returned a few days later.The bike was wheeled out for me to test ride.I said no need i'll buy it.I knew there and then that was the bike.The staff had even set the saddle at the right height on just guessing my inside leg.Small adjustments have been made by me since.It's a brilliant bike for long days out.

Finally got my hands on it. Only been out for a short ride so far (new baby in the house), but loved it!

Lovely bike, don't listen to the Cube'rs, now Giant have started selling their own wheels, tyres and finishing kit it is all getting great reviews.
Just in time for the summer! (although new baby will mean riding time is limited, but the bike will be there for whenever you can manage.) - Enjoy both!

Gotta be the cube for me- same group set but with the Ultegra rear mech, Easton custom wheels and Ultremo tyres, it beats the defy for me - and looks The bogs dollocks
