I've got some shimano M530 on mine - even tho they are 'classed' as a MTB pedal, they are very easy to clip into/out of (due to the platform) and look perfect on a road bike IMO. Plus it saves me having two sets of shoes with different cleats.

You'll get the hang of then in no time,

Already got them

MTB shoes and Shimano pd-m520s

Off to ride round the garden right now then maybe venture onto the farmers lane which is very quiet (until he hears the "ouch" :smile:

'Ouch' and other expletives are all part of the learning process !

Even after countless years on spd's i still have the odd occasion when I forget,and go through a rapid (and embarrassing) learning process :shy:

Just done about 5 miles with plenty of stop starts/clip/unclips and it's a lot easier than I thought

You only need to worry at the stopping process :smile:

I struggle a bit with my right foot so bit more practice required

Cube's come up small against others

I'm 54cm on other bikes but need a 56cm on the Cube

As above, I'm 5'10" and a 58cm (cube size) is pefect for me
