I live just South of Kendal. Ullswater is my favourite area for biking round and also Wainwright bagging. Keswick area another excellent choice. Avoid the more commercialised areas of Windermere and Ambleside in the summer months but outside of that its reet👍

Enjoy, beautiful area and I would never move back to Yorkshire now
