i am thinking of getting the new ribble bike (gran fondo ) seems quite a good deal

only it has a curved top tube and does this make any differance ?

curved top tubes are nowt new. i guess, in theory, an arch is stronger than a piece of straight metal/carbon, but i'm sure someone with more expertise than i can fill out the mechanical details.

unless you're a pro, i doubt it will make much difference to you though…

I bought a Nero RC in September.

Love the bike. It arrived about 1 day after the expected 4 weeks. Don't expect the greatest service, but you can't dipsute the quality of product for the price.
