Hi all,

I've got myself a Sonder Camino AL frame and fork, and looking to transplant the group set / wheels from my old planet x bike (frame in the classified section).

Now the frame has arrived I noticed they don't provide a steerer expander plug. I called up sonder and they said they dont provide this and dont sell any either. so my question is which one should I buy, seems to be a lot of choice and variants out there.

Thanks

Get one of the longer ones. Deda do a good one.

As @Animo says, get a long plug, it needs to be longer than the stem depth so it provides internal support to the steerer and reduces any possible risk of the steerer tube cracking. Deda (as highlighted above), FSA and Condor cycles all do long plugs that should do the job.

Thanks, popping into the condor store tomorrow to pick one up!

I'm sure I'll be back with more questions for this build. currently going down a rabbit hole of different types of greases for different applications around the bike
