custom builders must be super busy

I emailed two Ti custom frame builders last week

So far, neither of them has replied

Are they really so busy they can't answer an email, even to say they're busy?

Perhaps they are busy making frames rather then sat at a computer all day

Have you tried calling them? Not every company hold's email in great regard to their business.

non facetious response: Nope not yet, as I didn't want to waste their time until I had an idea of what sort of prices they were talking about and what options they had.

I guess this is my problem of expecting businesses with websites to live in the 21st century

I also think you should give them a call. It's no fun trying to type at a keyboard when your hands are greasy etc.

Why would your hands be greasy making a Ti frame? Maybe covered in welding gloves or cutting lubricate but not grease.

not for my questions nope. They have indicative prices and a bike builder form, but that doesn't answer general specific questions (I know what I mean)

I would expect that some of the good members here will be able to help you out with their experiences with said companies.

I do appreciate/hope they are very very very busy 'cos that would be a good thing, and I don't want to ruin their rep because they haven't answered an email - I can leave that to some of the other threads going on at the moment

Hopefully in about 8 weeks or so though I might be able to show off a new Ti toy
