During my sojourn from these hallowed pages, as a penance for my sins I spent a wee while in Giza.
With alcohol being a virtual luxury (no bad thing!!) I took to messing about with my XP lappy, trying to make it look as much like 7/Vista as I could.
Many a happy hour was spent haunched over the screen, using Photoshop, staring through nicotine stained eyeballs until I got it "just right" for me. Then the lappy died.
So I bought a new one to tide me over with Windows 6 'n 3/8 installed (it definitely wasn't 7!!). I then started faffing about with the look of that.
I ended up sticking all the stuff I'd done on deviantART so I could at least grab it all when I came home. The dial-up T'Interweb connection I had was run by carrier pigeons in dewaw (tomorrow) mode by the way so took ages to upload anything!
So, if anyone is sad enough, like me, to be into tweaking the look of there system for the hell of it, give My Gallery on dA a peek.
