I've been out for the summer on my narrowboat. I took me Carlton with me with its open pedals. Now were back on our winter mooring I took My Dyna Tech Pro with its clip less pedals out to start and build my mileage up. At the narrow exit I could see an elderly couple approaching from the opposite direction so unclipped my right foot and promptly fell over to the left. Grazed my knee and not the bike thank heavens. "Ouch" says the old man "that gravel hurts I bet" seeing my bloody knee, "it’s not that that hurts is it - it's your pride" chirps his wife - I couldn’t argue. :-)
