Is anyone doing the CW125 Sportive this weekend?
This is the Cycling Weekly event to celebrate their 125th anniversary. There are three routes, 60m, 125km (80m) and 125m. The two longer routes take in Mow Cop (image attached) and other than that lump, it's pretty flat with just 3,300ft gain on the 125km route. In contrast, the Rise Above Sportive had 6,000ft over the same distance. Maps, routes, TCX etc are available via that link.
There is a timed lap of the Oulton Park Circuit at the end of the ride and whilst I'm sat here thinking I won't be joining in the challenge, I'm sure the adrenaline will kick in on the day and I'll be puffing and panting my way across the line!
