We all like a good movie fight scene. Watching the good guys slap the bad dudes, or watching some bullies get owned is usually great fun.

The question of which is the best movie fight scene has been raised in Parliament, and old BoJo has been on the blower desperate for me to find out what the wise minds and sage thinkers of CC have to say about the matter.

Well, as it's a matter of national importance I could hardly say no, could I?

There's a John Wayne fight scene that lasts about 15 minutes!

wimpy kid here, I always felt sorry for the bar owner in those bar brawl scenes.
And the quality of the furniture was usually just appalling.
Or maybe the bar owner knew there'd be a brawl every few days so just kitted his brasserie out with the cheapest balsawood stuff he could find.

It'll only get the one vote, I'm sure... but from that list, it's gotta be Doc Savage; one of the best sh!t films in my DVD collection. Loved it as an 8 year old, laughed at it ever since.

The Foreigner is my choice for fight scene.

But Dolph Lungdren could and probably can still kick most people's ass. I watched him fight at Crystal Palace in the Kyokushinkai Full contact (Knock Down) British Open, he was heavyweight champion in 1980 an 81, needless to say he was absolutely lethal. Rules were fight bare knuckle no punching to the face, but you could hook around the neck and knee or kick to the head. He was my hero as a 12 year old Kyokushinkai green belt and I went on to fight knock down myself as an adult but never with the same success as Dolph.
