I know you don't wear a helmet, and I know the reasons why you don't, but have you thought about a bump cap?

That's not an invitation for a "helmet thread", we all know the pros and cons of a cycling lid, but bump caps are the same price as a cycling cap with a solid liner.

I'll think about it, but I honestly don't worry about the odd bump on the noggin. I just don't think it's likely enough to need any protection. How heavy and restrictive are bump caps?

I think it's got to be Walz. Just need to think about something witty to get stitched into the side.

I completely agree and understand, Ben, and I probably wouldn't pay money for one, but I was given it at work and it struck me (intentional) as something to wear cycling.

They differ in style and function, of course, but mine is not heavy or restrictive. It is warmer than a helmet (because it has few vent holes), so it does get a bit sweaty but it's easily rinsed and in weather like today's, the warmth is no bad thing, as well as being a good way of keeping the rain off the glasses.

I was thinking of "If you can read this, you're too close"

Not sure about whether to capitalise the first letter, as it needs to go over 2 lines. Which looks better:

If you can read this
You're too close

if you can read this
you're too close

Also, I really like the 3 panel moisture wicking, black with orange stripe.
What other ones look good?

It's a shame they only let you do it in plain Arial. Or has that changed?

Be nice to have some more flowery fonts.
