Cycle Chat Sofa Share???

With apologies to Shaun etc, who perhaps i should ask first, I was wondering if there is (or could be) some kind of CC sofa-share thread?

E.g. you want to cycle from London to Betws-yCoed (for some reason) but you can't afford hotels/B&Bs etc, or just want to be sociable. You post your plans on the thread, and friendly cycle chat peeps say "Hey, you can kip on my sofa in Leamington Spa in 13th June, if you want" and so on.

Just a thought. I have a trip in mind, and don't want it to cost me a fortune (though I will buy you a beer and a pizza)

You can't share my sofa though, as it is under my bed and you will have to listen to me and Arch all night!

im happy to sofa share! last stop before lands end/first stop to JOG! however im not sure how rested youd be with a newborn in the house

My sofa (or even the spare bed) is available to anyone (almost anyone) from CC who finds themsleves in this small neck of a large wood.

I too have an intermittently spare room (and space in the garden for those of a tenting disposition).
A CC SofaSurfing tour would be an excellent idea!

Ours is an open house for cyclists, we often put them up in the garden shed spare room.

Same here - just off the A49 so quite handy for LEJOG/JOGLE people or even those just cycling up & down West Coast.
just give me warning so I can get some of the bikes out of the spare room.... its got 3 of them in it and is full so no room...

Im already listed on warm showers I think...cant do tents as my garden is paved...can do a sofa or floorspace with a thermorest etc..
