no biggie, I'm in late and I quite appreciate you'll all have fun without me, but I vote for the one in Clerkenwell, less suits and much nicer ambience is my guess

There's still the Founders Arms at Blackfriars. Big pub with outside seating and Young's beers for the fussy!

Or if you want to skip the river and just go for lots of beers there's the Porterhouse (here) that does more beers than you can shake a stick at.

I'd go for All Bar One. The Crown is full of lawyers and it takes half an hour to get served - and the beer is stupidly expensive. If you're determined not to go to All Bar One then Look Mum No Hands at least has the benefit of being a bike shop.
